Entry Level Engineers Needed (Spring/Summer/Fall 2025)

Role Description:

If you are dual language speaking in English and Chinese, and have a civil, structural, electrical, or architectural engineering background, then this might be the job for you! We need team players who are eager to learn and solution oriented, with professional communication skills that support our #1 goal: To pass inspection.


This is a full-time on-site Engineering Intern role located on an active job site currently in the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area. The Engineering Intern will be involved in design, communication with project teams, resource management, and project management tasks on a daily basis.

Responsibilities may include any of the following:

  • Assist in the design and analysis of structural components of buildings and infrastructure.
  • Perform calculations and simulations to ensure structure stability and compliance.
  • Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and construction teams.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to designs and standards.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide technical support to senior engineers.
  • Stay updated with current industry practices, codes, and standards.


Qualifications


  • Must be conversationally adept in both Chinese and English languages
  • Must possess or be working towards an Engineering Bachelor’s degree in the areas of Civil, Structural, Architectural, and/or Electrical Engineering.
  • Senior-Level University students are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Preferred to have 0-2 years of experience in the fields of Civil, Structural, Architectural, and/or Electrical Engineering, internships included.
  • Familiarity with structural analysis software and CAD tools.
  • Knowledge of building codes and standards.
  • Good understanding of material properties and construction methods.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Must possess a strong work ethic and ability to effectively meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and effectively carry out assigned duties.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a wide variety of persons with cultural, age, gender, and other differences, towards one common goal.
